American Walnut Fireplace with bookcases and panelling
Fireplace surround moulded, stepped out at the top with a Gold leaf highlight. Mantel piece above, moulded below. Chimney breast above recessed to receive a large TV, Acanthus Leaf moulded frame surrounding it. Both sides recess back to the bookcase units comprising of a base section with moulded plinth supporting pillars each have recessed raised and fielded panels with inset pair of doors. Doors and pillars have a Bolection mould standing proud of the door frame and a raised and fielded panel with a veneered centre of American Burr Walnut. Top above has a Gadroon moulding along the front edge. The top sections are framed by a pair of fluted pillars with pillar bases and a carved Corbel bracket above, the fluted pillars are returned on themselves at the bottom. The bookcase/display cabinets have a pair of small matching drawers at the base and a open space with antiqued mirror backboards and glass shelves, all illuminated by recessed diffused LED lights set in behind pillars. Recessed back each side a panelled frame, the base with matching panel details and antiqued mirror top panel, fitted with a wall light. The top cornice moulding is made in many sections to achieve a very large protruding moulding, keeping the overall proportions in scale. Finished in a satin matt lacquer embellished with aged gold leaf.
